Mabuting Pilipino offers educational assistance to children of slain journalists

MABUTING Pilipino is offering educational assistance to poor but deserving students who are children of media workers killed in Ampatuan, Maguindanao.

The movement aims to assist the orphaned children continue their studies and move forward with their lives.

“We cannot even begin to describe what these children are going through. Providing them educational assistance is our way of helping them cope with their future, explains Eusebio Tanco, one of the convenors of Mabuting Pilipino

In a statement, Mabuting Pilipino denounced the merciless killing of journalists, lawyers and women in Ampatuan, Maguindanao.

Mabuting Pilipino is a non government organization that advocates good governance, national discipline and transparency in government. It believes in the capacity of every Filipino to be a “Mabuting Pilipino”.
